I’m Kayla, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I was born and raised in Lockport, New York, near Buffalo and Niagara Falls, and relocated to Fort Wayne in 2007. I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in August 2024. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families across all age groups, from young children to older adults.
I provide therapy services both in-person and through telehealth, offering flexibility to meet your needs. My approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel heard and understood. I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also enjoy using art as a therapeutic tool to encourage self-expression and healing.
I specialize in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, and more. My goal is to build trust through empathy and meet you where you are. It would be my privilege to support you as you take the next step in your mental health care.
